Small Group Training That Translates

Our small group training combines the best of both worlds: individual attention and detailed skill development with competition, pressure, and decision-making players experience in live basketball games.

With groups limited to 6 or less athletes, every athlete receives personalized coaching, immediate feedback, and purposeful repetitions.  Players have the opportunity to break down and improve their technique - then put those skills to the test through competitive, game-like drills. Small-sided and situational training helps athletes learn to read defenders, react under pressure, and apply their skills instead of simply performing drills.

Training Classes
ESSENTIALS: Typically grades 6-9.  Ball skills, footwork, finishing, understanding angles, decision making skills.
ADVANCED: Grades 10-12.  We build on the Essentials Skills and add more advanced advanced level scoring and game concepts.  Typically varsity level players.
GIRLS ADVANCED: Varsity level high school girls.  We build off the Essential skills with more advanced scoring and game concepts.
The REALWORK Approach

We believe great players need more than a bag of moves.  They need the ability to execute fundamental skills and decisions that happen most frequently within a game.

Our training focuses on what players ACTUALLY need:

Handle the Ball: against pressure and with purpose

Score at the rim and in the paint: learn how and when to beat defenders and develop the footwork, touch, creativity and toughness needed to effectively score around the rim.

Shoot the basketball:  The most valuable skill in the game.  Mechanics, footwork, balance and repetition.

Make great decisions: basketball is a game of constant reads. Players must learn to recognize advantages, read defenders, understand spacing, all within a fraction of a second.

Train the Skill. Read the Game. Apply it Live.

Our sessions are designed to move beyond standing in lines and repeating moves without purpose.  Players develop the fundamentals, recieve individual coaching, and then compete in situations that challenge them to think, react, and perform.

The goal is simple: build confident, skilled basketball players who can handle the ball, score, shoot, and mkae winning decisions when the game is live.
